Collection: TOPRO

Norwegian walking frames, built for the people a rollator does not suit.

TOPRO manufacture in Gjøvik and have supplied the Scandinavian health services for decades. We stock them for one specific reason: the Troja Walker² is a gutter arm frame, and gutter frames answer a problem no rollator can.

Every rollator asks you to take weight through your hands and wrists. For someone with rheumatoid arthritis, a wrist that never recovered its strength, severe carpal tunnel, or a stroke that took the grip on one side, that is precisely what has stopped working. A gutter frame moves the support up the limb — your forearms rest in padded troughs and you push from the elbows, which spreads the load and keeps you upright.

The Troja Walker² brakes with a single lever operating both wheels, so it can be worked entirely from a stronger side, and it folds laterally and stands up on its own. Three sizes, and a seven-year frame warranty.

Gutter frames are frequently prescribed, so involve your OT early — and book an appointment to try one. They feel strange for the first minute and obvious by the fifth.
