The Bee Healthcare Difference

Why Buy Your Saljol From Us

Clinical Assessment as Standard

Every rollator includes a professional assessment with your physiotherapist or OT — in hospital or at home — ensuring correct sizing, configuration, and suitability.

Neurological Expertise

Founded by a Registered General Nurse, we specialise in Parkinson's, MS, stroke recovery, and complex neurological conditions. A recommendation for freezing of gait looks very different from one for progressive weakness.

Hospital to Home

We assess in the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Tallaght University Hospital, and follow patients home. Your rollator is assessed for the environment you'll actually use it in.

Irish Support

Irish company. Irish delivery. Local spare parts and accessories. No cross-border returns or UK phone lines.

HSE-Approved

We work within HSE and physiotherapy referral pathways to ensure a smooth process.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Saljol?

A German manufacturer based in Bavaria with over 20 years of expertise in premium rollators and mobility aids. CE marked. ISO 11199-2:2021 compliant.

Is Bee Healthcare the official Saljol partner in Ireland?

Yes. Full range, clinical assessments, and after-sales support across Ireland.

Can I try one before I buy?

Absolutely — in our Sandyford showroom, in hospital, or in your home. Book here.

Do I need a prescription?

No. Purchase directly from us. If accessing via HSE or physiotherapy referral, we work within those pathways.

Carbon vs Allround — what's the difference?

Carbon is lighter (5.6 kg vs 6.4 kg) with a built-in grinding brake. Allround has larger front wheels for rougher terrain and a tipping aid for kerbs. Both convert to one-hand braking.

Can it be used with one hand?

Yes. All outdoor models convert to one-hand simultaneous braking. Talk to us about fitting it.

How do I choose the right size?

Small (145–170 cm) or medium (160–200 cm). We measure during your clinical assessment.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. Dublin clients can combine delivery with a home assessment.

How does Saljol compare to a standard HSE rollator?

Standard models meet minimum requirements. Saljol is engineered around the user — cork handles, 30+ reflectors, grinding brakes, one-hand operation. For neurological conditions, these are clinically meaningful.
